Style Guide Prompt

Append the following section to this project's CLAUDE.md (create the file if it doesn't exist). Apply this style whenever you produce a document, artifact, canvas, or markdown deliverable in this repo.

## Document Style Guide

Apply this style to every document, artifact, canvas, or markdown deliverable you produce.

### Typography
- Heading font: Serif (ui-serif, Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif)
- Body font: Sans (ui-sans-serif, system-ui, -apple-system, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif)
- Use only system font stacks. Do NOT import Google Fonts (no Cormorant, Playfair, Inter, Space Grotesk, etc.).
- Headings: tight letter-spacing, strong weight (700+).
- Body: comfortable size (15–17px), regular weight.

### Color palette
- Background: #f5f0e8 (cream)
- Text: #1a1614
- Muted text: #6b5d52
- Surface / cards: #ffffff
- Accent (single, used sparingly for emphasis, links, key callouts): #d97706
- Do NOT default to orange-on-cream, purple-on-white, or other generic AI palettes.

### Layout
- Left-align everything. Use a single editorial column with clear hierarchy. No centered hero stacks.
- Generous whitespace. Body line-height ~1.85. Section padding ~3rem.
- Corner radius: 12px (soft). Apply consistently to cards, buttons, and inputs.

### Voice for visuals
- Prefer one strong hero element over three crammed together.
- Cards and callouts get the surface color, never the accent as a fill unless it is a single hero pull-quote.
- Use the accent color for: links, the leading word of a section title, key numbers, and one CTA per document.

### Avoid (the default Claude look)
- Cream + serif + orange together unless that is explicitly the Editorial Cream preset.
- Centered hero stacks with subtitle + CTA + cards stacked symmetrically.
- Em-dashes in body copy. Use periods or parentheses instead.
- Decorative icons, gradient meshes, and stock illustrations unless requested.
- Importing fonts. System fonts only.

Why brand your docs?

Every founder, agency, and indie hacker is shipping documents written by the same model — and they all look like Claude wrote them. Cream backgrounds, serif headlines, an orange accent, em-dashes everywhere. A 30-second style guide makes every doc feel like yours, not the model's, without touching a font import.
